This paper presents the design and implementation of a cashless payment mobile app tailored specifically for a university's transportation sector. The proposed mobile app leverages QR code technology to streamline and enhance the payment process for students and staff. The project begins with a comprehensive analysis of the existing payment methods within the university's transport system, identifying inefficiencies and pain points. Subsequently, a thorough market research and requirements gathering phase is undertaken to understand the unique needs and preferences of users. The design phase focuses on creating an intuitive user interface that ensures ease of use and accessibility for all potential users. The mobile app is designed to be compatible with both Android and iOS platforms, ensuring a wide user base. Key features of the app include user registration, profile management, balance checking, trip history, and a secure payment gateway. The core innovation lies in the integration of QR code technology. Each university transport vehicle is equipped with a unique QR code that passengers can scan using the app to initiate payments. This approach eliminates the need for physical tickets or cash payments, reducing the likelihood of fraud and enhancing the overall security of the system.
