ABSTRACT
The primary aim of this project is to design and fabricate a potato slicing machine to reduce human effort by making use of this machine, also in ensuring a hygienic process in doing this and minimizing the time in doing this. The machine was fabricated using mild steel, stainless steel, electric motor, paint, electric cord, pulleys and v belts and shaft. The result of the testing shows that The potato slicing machine is hygienic and slices in less time, it reduces the stress in slicing. In conclusion, the production of the machines offers an incredible opportunity for slicing Potato in large quantity within a few seconds as compared to the hours that would have otherwise become wasted.
