ABSTRACT
This project presents the design and fabrication of an automated greenhouse for crop planting, which could enhance the purpose of monitoring and controlling different vital environmental factors, Automated greenhouse has features which helps to ensure that plants are protected by maintaining an optimal crop growth condition by managing environmental factors including heat, humidity, light intensity and ventilation.in respect to energy usage, water usage and nutrients, by equipping it with modern sensor and communication devices which automatically captures and deliver information on not only the surrounding but also the soil. It minimizes labour work, efficient use of water resources, does not require high capital for startup and automation. To achieve this objective a microcontroller (ESP32 WI-FI MODULE) is used to control the various sensors used for the design of the system. The system comprises of a temperature sensor which detects a temperature and creates a changing voltage signal, the soil humidity sensor, the light intensity sensor, and an LCD screen. Related previous works was carried out, experimental design and construction of greenhouse was done using glass and aluminum component.
