ABSTRACT

Painting in Engineering began as a manual process, with brushes widely used to apply paint onto surfaces, but as technology advanced, industrialization, population growth, and humans constantly striving for improvements, spraying machines were introduced as a faster and more efficient way to carry out painting activities. Painting machines are extensively employed in the automotive industry, although they are rarely used in the construction business or for painting house walls. The major goal of the project is to develop and build a wall paint spraying system that will aid in low-cost painting using locally available materials. Paint A high concentration of chemicals can endanger the human painter's health by affecting the human eyes and respiratory system. Furthermore, the Painting procedures that demand repetitive work can be highly difficult and stressful to people. The proposed system includes a paint gun, a cup, a frame, rollers, and a hose connected to a compressor. This prototype model was designed and built for testing purposes and is limited to a height of 7ft(84inch), but it can be developed and the limit can be expanded. Furthermore, our model requires an external compressor for compressed air, which can be avoided by employing an inbuilt compressor. Our work made an impression in the field of painting departments in industrial sectors. It is extremely beneficial to the workers in the painting industry; we were able to meet our goal of a low-cost machine, reduced labor costs, and improved quality of finishing, reduce hazard exposure to painters, and mostly saves time.
