ABSTRACT
The design objective of this project is to develop a durable, remote-controlled lawn mower using locally sourced materials. In this study, we present the design and performance analysis of a prototype remote-controlled lawn mower. The mower features a rotating cutting blade powered by an internal combustion engine, an electric circuit panel, DC motors, an alternator, a lead-acid battery, a remote control, and tires. The engine and panel are mounted on a sturdy base frame supported by the tires. During operation, the blade swiftly cuts grass while simultaneously charging the battery via the alternator. The battery powers the remote-control system, enabling smooth maneuvering of the lawn mower.
