ABSTRACT

Use of Fossil Fuels in Power Generation has its adverse environmental impact. And due to growing population there is a scarcity of Fossil Fuels in today’s world. To cope up with this problem this study suggests the design of A.C operated vacuum cleaner using axial flow fan, which is capable of producing a suction pressure of 2- bar that would function according to design consideration.

  There are many types of equipment which reduces the efforts of humans in cleaning and due to growing population there is a scarcity of Fossil Fuels in today’s world. This machine is capable of performing cleaning of floor in dry as well as wet condition, and it also have storage box to store a dust. This floor cleaning machine is designed by keeping the basic considerations for machine and efforts reduction, environment friendly and easy handling. The machine will work on electricity and there is no need of training to operate it. This work can be very useful to improve the life style of mankind.

After proper design considerations and fabrication of the rechargeable vacuum cleaner and final adjustments were made the vacuum cleaner was subjected to an idle test run to first ensure the whole assemble is rigid and is operating as a single unit. The developed vacuum cleaner is effectively applicable for household cleaning. Floor surface platform and office premises. With due generation of suction of 0.17 bar it can be successfully employed for cleaning purposes.
