ABSTRACT
This study is about the design and fabrication of a ball mill for the pulverization of coarse materials. It examines the need for size reduction in different industries. In this regard size reduction can be seen as a very important process.
It focuses on the central themes of each considered publication that emphasizes how it operates, the principles of work, key concepts, including experimental and non-experimental research, and strengths and weaknesses.
The result and analysis of the ball mill was done with Solidworks and Solidworks simulation a CAD tool for 3D design and modelling. It was used to find the von-mises stress under different load. The efficient of the ball mill is ***. The critical speed was also calculated and the speed was made to run between 69% to 79% of the critical speed.
