ABSTRACT
In this project, a 6” industrial moulding block machine was designed and fabricated for industrial usage. The concrete block has become the building material of choice, it has many advantages over traditional building with limber and brick. Because the traditional blocks were usually cast by hand and the average output was about 10 blocks per person per hour. But, this moulding block with the size of 430mm x 133mm x 100mm (6” thickness), Approximate weight of 17.5kg with compressive strength of 5N/mm2, 7 N/mm, 8.SN/mm2, 10 N/mm2,.
The fabricated 6” moulding block machine was tested for functionality with the average output of 50 blocks per person per hour and the results show that the moulding block gave the desired functions and performance for effective building.
