ABSTRACT
The project the design and construction of an automatic light controller for hallway is reliable to oversee the task of controlling the lights in a Hallway when Human presence is detected.
The project was chiefly designed using the passive infrared sensor (PIR), Light dependent resistor (LDR) and microcontroller. If the hallway is properly lighted up, the LDR ensures that the lights are OFF and whenever no one is around the Hall, the lights are also OFF. The lights are triggered on by the PIR sensors when it senses the presence of human.
At the end of the project, the system was tested using the sensitivity test experiment to ensure the project is working. The automatic light controller ensures for light energy conservation in the hallway while working effectively.
