ABSTRACT
Nigeria, like many developing nations, struggles with frequent power outages and an unreliable electricity supply. These interruptions not only disrupt daily life but also pose challenges to various sectors, including healthcare and industry. To address this issue, this project introduces a solution in the form of a single-phase automatic changeover switch tailored to Nigeria's unique power scenario. The changeover switch serves as an interface between two power sources, typically the main utility power and a backup generator, ensuring uninterrupted power supply during outages.
