ABSTRACT
Internet of Things (IoT) uses the internet to connect numerous devices, helps with data transmission within and between devices, device tracking and monitoring, and other things. IoT enables things to transmit data and automate tasks without human intervention, making them "smart." This project shows a straightforward process for creating a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth home automation system that tracks and monitors our homes' electrical energy usage in real-time. The main control unit is a bespoke node microcontroller unit (ESP). It is connected to sensors that track various appliances like lights and fans as well as the environment in real time. The household appliances are represented by light bulbs and sockets. Blynk is an android app that facilitates communication between electrical and human devices. It is responsible for all the communications between the smart phone and hardware. The created system's test results demonstrate that the smart arrangement can be used to turn on and off electrical equipment automatically without the user being physically present (that is the user does not need to be in the same location as the appliances he wishes to control).
