ABSTRACT
This research work is designed to examine the appraisal of human resource development in Globacom Nigeria Limited. The research instrument used was the questionnaire, one hundred and two respondents were used for the study, problems were raised and the results obtained were used to answer the research questions. The use of tables and charts was implored. The study revealed that human resource development is vital in an organization with 75.5% of the respondents strongly agreeing to it. The study also revealed that 80.4% of the respondents agreed that the success of an organization depends on how effective the human resource development has been managed. The human resources development leads to accomplishment of organization’s objectives. The study further discovered that human resource training and development leads to organizational growth.
