ABSTRACT
Cyberspace refers to a domain that is distinguished by the use of electronic mechanisms and the electromagnetic spectrum for the purposes of storing, altering, and enabling the interchange of data through interconnected systems (network) and the surrounding physical structures. The cornerstone of the complex web of computer interactions, particularly those taking place between various computational entities, is none other than the vast, unbounded space known as the internet. Technologies used for data exchange, storage, and interaction across interconnected electronic networks, most notably the internet, are referred to as cyberspace technologies. This study will discuss internet technologies and how they impact Nigerians' daily lives. The research starts off by looking at how cybercrime is developing and looking into the strategies and goals of bad people on the internet or online. It goes on to analyse the critical area of cyber security, including the techniques and tools used to protect digital assets and privacy. The project will also feature a survey among Nigerians to find out how much knowledge they have about cybersecurity and cybercrime, as well as how that knowledge may help secure the Nigerian internet. The suggestion of Cyber Solutions, which includes the creation of preventative measures and policies to reduce cyber dangers, is at the heart of this study. It is crucial to examine how society, business, and the government can work together to create a resilient cyber landscape as the digital revolution reshapes economies and societies. Through the lens of Nigeria, this project aims to help us better understand the challenges and solutions in keeping our digital world safe. Nigeria is a country that's both advancing in technology and facing risks. By looking at these important issues, this research wants to vii contribute to our knowledge about Cyber Space Technology and how to keep it safe from cyber criminals.
