ABSTRACT

This research work is designed to examine the cultural beliefs and healthcare services utilization in Benin City, Egor local government ugbowo. The research instrument used was the questionnaire,200 respondents were used for this study, problems were raised and the results obtained were used go answer the research questions. Tables and chairs were used. The study revealed that majority of the respondents were females. 76.0% agreed that acknowledging and accommodating cultural differences in health care settings fosters trust, and improves patient outcome while majority of them 152. % expressed that addressing cultural background disparities in health care promotes equity and social justice. The study further discovered that Cultural background influence individual's perception of health care service utilization.
