ABSTRACT
The act of learning is more effective when conducted under a suitable or conducive environment. This is even more so, when the twin virtues of creativity and critical thinking are involved. A workshop station for artists, when lacking of the needed infrastructures will hinder creativity. It is on this singular premise that the 2017/2018 graduating students, decided to take up the challenge of providing a workshop section in the studio to make it more suitable for learning. This will be done by providing the studio with the required materials, such as furniture, electrical fittings, ceiling fans, re-painting, etc. It is hoped that when these facilities are put in place, the workshop studio will inspire as well as boost creativity both in the present as well as future graphic students in the Department.
