Summary
Basically , The main objective of the entire practical project was to give the graphic Department of Fine and Applied Arts, University of Benin, a significant upgrade in every aspect of graphics design and not limiting it to the lecture studio alone. It was observed that due to the absence of the workshop, the overall practical and manual output has been on the decline. Having also experienced this negative trend, the out-going 400 level graphic design students, in the section, hence took up the herculean challenge of crafting a workshop rather than leaving it. This was made possible by a collective effort with every member being allocated responsibilities
The earlier set of graphic design students constituted the population of this research and also adding to the research, such as the survey on materials and tools required in each sector as mentioned earlier. To utilize and save time, the researchers were shared into various working committees, which propelled the general success of the project.
