Summary
The study examines COVID-19 pandemic and its effect on the residents of Ekosodin Community. The descriptive survey research design was employed in the study. The population consisted of residents of the Ekosodin community, Benin City, Edo State. The purpose of the study was aimed at examining the challenges facing residents in the community, effect of Covid 19 on the health of residents, the influence of COVID-19 pandemic on the educational level of residents, possible solutions to challenges posed by COVID 19 and the roles of social workers in dealing with the pandemic.
