ABSTRACT

The level of course satisfaction among medical students in University of Benin, Benin city was moderate. The factors that were found to affect course satisfaction were sex of the respondents, level, respondent’s mother’s level of education, relationship with instructors, perception of instructor’s preparedness before class, conduciveness of the learning environment, size of the class and approval of the methods of assessment. There was a positive but low correlation between course satisfaction and psychological health of the students. There was no relationship between course satisfaction and willingness to practice medicine after training among medical students in University of Benin, Benin city.
