ABSTRACT
Corruption has been a hindrance and evil in the development of Nigeria state spreading across all sections of the economy. No doubt, it nature and manifestation varies in different societies or areas. There is an agreement and consensus amongst most developed experts and scholars, that despite variations and divergence in the nature and dynamics of corruption in nations state, most of government policies in curbing corruption is yet to yield positive or reasonable result in the country. This project was specially designed to examine and proffer solution to the role of corruption as an impediment to Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC). The researcher's aims and objective is to elaborate on corruption and its effects on Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC and developmental plan. This is because there has been so many hue and cries on the issue of corruption in Nigeria, especially Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), since there has been virtually no Decrease in its incidence, some group of persons have concluded that, there is no solution to the menace as caused or perpetrated by corruption in the Commission or the country at large, while other still hope for a better day ahead if only good leader emerged to flush out the bad eggs or clean the system which is currently stinking. Chapter one of these projects looks at introduction, Background of the Study, topic, and statement of research problem, objectives and study, proposition and hypothesized. And chapter two look at the Literature Review & Theoretical Framework, while chapter three closely look at Research Methodology, Research Design, Population of Study & Sample, Instrument of Data Collection, Techniques of Data Analysis, Test for, Fit of a Distribution, Other Distribution and Calculating the Test Statistics while chapter four Data Presentation and Analysis, Summary of Data Analysis Presentation, Significance of the Study, Conceptual Framework, The Nature and Characteristics of Corruption and last is the Summary, Conclusion, Recommendation and Questionnaire for the work.
