The purpose of this research work is to highlight the investigate the corporate survival and growth strategies of a business in a competitive environment with reference to Benin-city, Edo State and Nigeria by extension. The study had a population size of 281 out of which a sample size of 165 was realised using simple random sampling techniques. Instrument used for data collection was primarily questionnaire. The total numbers of 165 copies of the questionnaire were distributed while 150 copies were filled and returned. Tables and percentages were used as techniques of analyzing the research questions while regression analysis was employed to test the research hypotheses through the use of SPSS. The findings of this study are: the provision of quality products and service has a significant impact on the survival and growth of a business; the use of modern technology has no a significant impact on the survival and growth of a business; and the enhancement of the competitive strategies has no a significant impact on the survival and growth of a business. The study recommends that; corporate organisations should be proactive. They must not allow their competitors to overtake them unaware. The management of the organisation must adopt corporate strategy that will position the organisation in a place that it will be difficult for their fellow competitors to retaliate; every organisation must have adopted modern technology that will challenge and motivate it to higher performance. Modern technology eases the production of quality product and it also this enables the organization to secure customer loyalty over a long period of time; and the product of the organization must be of high quality so to grow in a competitive market.
