ABSTRACT
This paper empirically examined audit quality and corporate governance in manufacturing firms in Nigeria. All four variables used was seen to have a significant impact on the dependent variable. In a time of challenging economic crises, regulations and competition for quality audit manufacturing sector are struggling to maintain and develop the good audit quality due to the influence of the corporate board to maintain their balance. Apart from the studied variables, other variables has had visible effect on the industry till date. The move was for promoting quality audit is to flush out dubious incompetent board members in the system of transforming the manufacturing sector into one of the top financial sector in the world.
