ABSTRACT

 Contextual analysis of the Nigerian word "Ehen ehen" was the focus of this study. This summary provides a comprehensive overview of research conducted to explore the contextual, usage, and cultural connotations of "Ehen ehen" in Nigerian English Pidgin. The aim of this study is to elucidate the  many  meanings and functions of “Ehen ehen”  in different communication contexts, as well as  examine its role in shaping interpersonal communication and expression.  cultural present in Nigeria. Through in-depth examination of linguistic data, sociocultural factors and communicative intentions, this study aims to advance our understanding of the rich and dynamic nature of the Nigerian pidgin. and its major linguistic signs such as "Ehen ehen". The findings of this study contribute to the body of existing knowledge about the Nigerian pidgin and facilitate a more in-depth assessment of its cultural significance in the Nigerian context. This in-depth study delves into the contextual analysis of the Nigerian Pidgin word  “Ehen ehen” with  the  aim  of examining its multifaceted cultural connotation, function and connotation.
