ABSTRACT
This study emphasize specially on adaptable compartment for proper storage and display of textile works. As a result of lack of proper storage space of textiles works. Textile works not preserved can be damaged. Moreover fabrics when not stored properly can lead to fabric degradation and fade out, hence the need for this study. The researcher aim at expanciating on the need for a proper storage system in textile studio, of the department of fine and Applied Art University of Benin. As it will aid effective learning and teaching. In addition broaden the mindset of the students to achieve their proposed design concept and create awareness of what a textile gallery / storage space should like it's importance and how it's maintained. At the end of this research, the researcher has been able to provide a lasting remedy to the issue of lack of proper storage and display space in textile Gallery. This will help in the proper storage of textile works and boost the skills of students as it will inspire them to do greater things.
