ABSTRACT
The art studio being a place for expressing creative abilities, require a comfortable and conducive setting, whereby the necessary apparatus and equipment are available for a higher efficiency. The textile studio in the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, University of Benin, does not offer that desirable environment that could adequate cater for the studio needs of the students.
The main intent of this studio is to create a conducive studio environment for the students to adequately express themselves creatively. The constructed work station would greatly solve the challenges being faced by the textile students in the studio, paving the way for them to proficiently express themselves creatively.
