ABSTRACT
Anioma as a community has flourished and evolved in so many ways over time. Present day Anioma is now known as Delta north. The different migrations story of the various Anioma communities also played a key role in shaping them likewise the various wars that took place in Anioma. However present day Ubulu-Uku is believed to have engaged in diplomatic relations with other neighboring communities since after the war. It was also believed that these relations have been a very peaceful one since after the major outbreak with the Benin empire in pre-colonial times. However over times different Anioma communities have engaged one another in socio-cultural relation especially in the area of marriage and social activities like festivals.
