ABSTRACT
This research work focused on the relationship between conflict management and organizational performance. The study found that personal conflicts between co-workers may not necessarily impact organizational performance, but conflicts between employees and organizational policies can have a negative effect. The most effective approach to managing organizational conflict is to encourage teamwork and open communication. The organizational culture also plays a significant role in performance, with cultures that prioritize harmony and collaboration resulting in better performance. Effective conflict management is essential for good organizational performance, as it can lead to better communication, increased collaboration, and improved problem-solving, all of which can enhance productivity and efficiency. The study recommended several strategies for effective conflict management, including identifying and acknowledging the source of the conflict, communicating openly and honestly, using active listening, seeking outside help if necessary, and promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
