ABSRTACT

This study investigated the significant impact of the use of computer generated pictures on the field of photography, including the patronage of photographic studios. This study explored the effects of computer generated pictures on the patronage of traditional photographic studios, with a particular focus on how these technologies have changed the way photographs are created and consumed. Using both quantitative and qualitative approaches, the population of the study is considered an infinite as the entire population of experienced professional photographers and studio owners cannot be studied. The findings of this study suggests that computer generated pictures have both positive and negative effects on the patronage of photographic studios. The findings of this research highlight the need for more research and discussion on the future effects of technology on other fields of mass communication. The conclusion of the study is that computer generated pictures have the tendency of reducing patronage of photographic studios. The conclusion of the findings recommended the need for more research and discussion on the future of photography.
