ABSTRACT

We have obtained the theoretical moments and sample moments of the two parameter Weibull distributions. We also defined and discussed some terms used in the study. We discussed elaborately about moments and we also made use of R-software to generate random numbers, then we used the python software to compute the values of the parameters. The computation of the theoretical moments and sample moments are seen in chapter four of this work. This analysis involves examining the moments of the distribution, including the mean, variance, and higher order moments, both theoretically and through empirical data. By comparing the theoretical moments, which are calculated based on the distribution's parameters, with sample moments obtained from real data, you aim to assess how well the theoretical model fits the actual observations. This study can provide valuable insights into the Weibull distribution's performance in describing real-world data and its applicability in various fields.
