SUMMARY
It is evident from the result that antimalarial drugs affect red blood cells. Thus, can increase red cell haemolysis and osmotic fragility. Nanosilver has little or no effect on the fragility of red cells but this is dependent on the length of incubation. Also, combined Antimalarial drugs have more effect on red blood cell fragility than single antimalarial drugs in red cell haemolysis and osmotic fragility based on the result in Figure 4. I recommend that a patient’s blood should be considered before the kind and dose of antimalarial to use for treatment is given
