ABSTRACT
The primary objective of this study is to analyze the acting skills exhibited by Sola Sobowale and Shaffy Bello in films such as "King of Boys" and "Black Book."The aim is to gain a comprehensive understanding of how these actors breathe life into their characters on the screen, by considering some valuable techniques. To achieve this, a combination of qualitative analysis and observational studies were employed. This methodology will enable a thorough examination of the techniques, expressions, and body language employed by Sobowale and Bello, ultimately revealing the secrets behind their exceptional character interpretation skills. This research endeavor can be likened to a behind-the-scenes pass, offering valuable insights into their acting process. The significance of this project extends beyond academic curiosity. By comprehending the nuances of character interpretation in Nigerian cinema, we can better appreciate the immense talent and dedication of actors like Sola Sobowale and Shaffy Bello. Moreover, this study holds immense value for theatre art students, as it provides them with a wealth of knowledge and inspiration to explore innovative approaches to their craft.
