ABSTRACT
The study primarily accessed how sign language interpretation services are organized and managed in inclusive Schools. It also examine the different challenges faced while teaching hearing impaired students. It identified strategies and best practices that enhances effective collaboration and communication between sign language interpreters and hearing impaired students in inclusive education. The research adopted for this study was descriptive survey research. The plan of the study is to enable the researcher use reliable techniques (questionnaire) to collect data from the population. It was designed for the purpose of collecting valid, reliable and adequate data. In this study, descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage, and mean) were used to examine the retrieved data. After evaluation, it was seen that sign language interpreters in the study area do familiarize themselves with the content of what the main teacher will teach the students prior to each lesson. Sign language interpreters also encourage cooperative teaching, to reduce the work load and also to enable the main regular teacher concentrate while the special teacher which is the interpreter will also concentrate in the interpretation of what is being taught during the instructional period to the students.
