ABSTRACT
The study on the challenges of information search faced by library and information science students sprung up as a result of the issues arising from the unavailability and inadequate provision of information resources and sources in John Harris library, which has created an emerging challenge in the search for information by undergraduate students. Particularly, the study investigated the information needs and the information seeking behavior of Library and information science undergraduate students at the University of Benin, the challenges they face when seeking information in John Harris library as well as proffered possible solutions to the challenges.
