SUMMARY

From the physical properties observed from the soil samples, it is seen that samples 2 meets better the needs required for a good building and construction purpose. That means sample 1, although fairly good for construction purpose, needs to undergo some more form of recovery processes to stabilize soil before construction purposes commences on the soil.

Soil nutrients exist as positively or negatively charged ions when dissolved, depending on the chemical composition of the soil. Cations are the names given to positively charged ions, whereas anions are the names given to negatively charged ions.
