ABSTRACT
This chapter encompasses the project's evaluation, its concluding remarks, and the recommendations put forth. To begin, it provides an objective assessment aligned with the project's goals and context, thereby offering a comprehensive project overview. The historical transition from traditional taxi services to on-demand ride-hailing platforms like Uber and Lyft brought about significant improvements, including real-time GPS tracking, upfront fare estimates, cashless payments, and user rating systems. This evolution also popularized ride-sharing, reducing both costs and environmental impact. The research goals encompass understanding user preferences, assessing the impact of technology, and delivering practical recommendations. This research holds local and broader significance, fostering sustainability, technological progress, economic empowerment, and user-centric solutions. Additionally, this chapter delves into project limitations and the challenges faced during its development. Furthermore, it outlines future enhancements planned as the project goes live and arners user feedback. Ultimately, this chapter culminates in a set of recommendations. As established in Chapter 3, the software development methodology employed for this project is the prototyping methodology. This methodology holds significant importance in software development as it involves crafting an initial prototype, essentially the project's first design. The prototype servesas a visual representation of the final system, allowing stakeholders to interact with it, provide feedback, and make suggestions. This iterative process continues until an acceptable prototype is achieved, which subsequently serves as the foundation for developing the final cab ordering and logistics application. In summary, this research delves into the transformation of cab ordering and logistics, showcasing how technology has revolutionized urban mobility.
