ABSTRACT
The proliferation of fake news in today's digital age poses a significant threat to information integrity, public discourse, and societal stability. The project's primary aim is to employ NLP techniques to extract informative features from news articles, encompassing linguistic elements, sentiment analysis, and syntactic structures. These features will serve as the basis for ML models, trained on large datasets containing both genuine and fake news samples. Major focus would be on to create an intuitive application that users can enter fake news articles and get the validity of the news article. This project signifies a crucial step toward combating the proliferation of fake news, preserving the integrity of information, and fortifying the foundations of trustworthy journalism and responsible digital citizenship.
