ABSTRACT
Cultural items, such as art, antiques, and collectibles, are often bought and sold through traditional channels, which can be vulnerable to fraud and lack transparency. The use of smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain offers the potential to create a more secure and transparent digital market for these types of items. The project aims to contribute to the understanding of how smart contracts can be used to create secure and transparent digital markets for cultural items, and to provide a proof of concept for such a market. Thisinvolves the development of a proof of concept (POC) platform for a digital market for cultural items using smart contracts. The POC platform will be tested and evaluated to determine its effectiveness in creating a secure and transparent digital market for cultural items.
