ABSTRACT
The endemic nature of corruption in Nigeria’s fourth republic has placed the country in the watch list of global anti-corruption watch-dogs. Hence, the aim of the researcher is to evolve a more robust and effective mechanism in the context of President Muhammadu Buhari’s anti-corruption fight. In this regard, the researcher employs the qualitative method of research in generating and analyzing data. Amongst others, it is the recommendation of the researcher that the appointment and recruitment of the personnel of the anti-graft agencies should be neutral politically and their salaries should be placed under the consolidated revenue account
