ABSTRACT
To work and learn especially in the creative section is a process that demands a lot of attention, focus, comfort and serenity. To achieve this, the environment in which creation is made needs to fit a certain criteria to enable higher productivity and learning. This project is a means of achieving the above assertion in the 300 level graphic studio of the Department of Fine and Applied Art, University of Benin.
Problem
An ideal graphic design studio would require a substantial amount of facilities and resources in order to create a serene, comfortable environment that would aid creative production and better learning. The Current state of the Department Graphic studio for the 300 level does not meet this requirement and hence, Learning is difficult and barely effective.
Objective
1. To know the importance or refurbishing.
2. To improve the understanding rate of the users of the project, by making sure they feel comfortable whenever they are in the graphic design studio.
3. To increase the tendency for students to work in the studio
Methodology
The researcher used several methods for getting information for this report. These methods are as follows:
l Consulting Former students who have done some thing similar.
l Using the Internet and Online Research on the Topic
l Observation of the Current 400 level Studio
Findings
The researcher found that a more comfortable, and professional studio is important for the learning process that is experienced in the Graphic design section of the Department of Fine and Applied Arts
