ABSTRACT
In view of research analysis and common findings, we see the genuine impact of box office in the theatre .This research looks at the role of box office in theatre sustenance. Developing an effective and operational box office department in the theatre should become of great need and use to the revenue generation for theatre sustain ace. There is a growing interest in the box office department as new ideas and plans are being made to generate revenue for the theatre . The questions that form the basis for this research are: is the box office still involved in the theatre? Are there supposed to be theatre establishments without the box office? Is adequate box office management important because it affects the outcome of any production to a great extent?. However, deduction from this study has shown that the box office department can be used as a great revenue source for theatre sustenance.
