ABSTRACT
Hydrocarbons are regarded as the most primary energy and fuel resources in the world. Accidental discharge/spillages occur during exploration and distribution due to acute accidents through human activities. Hence hydrocarbon is the trending pollutant of soil and water, Bioremediation broadly refers to any process wherein a biological system (typically bacteria, microalgae, fungi, and plants), living or dead, is employed for removing environmental pollutants from air, water, soil, flue gasses, industrial effluents etc. The soil's pH, bulk density, moisture content, and NPK content were determined from the soil characterization. The characterization of the biostimulants were also carried out to determine the pH, soil porosity, moisture content, and NPK level of the amendments. Making biochar involves burning rubber trees at a temperature of 600 degrees Celsius, crushing the resulting material with a mortar and pestle, and screening the resulting product to a particle size of 2.8 millimeters. According to the experiments done with the three distinct biostimulants, the blend of biochar and poultry dropping combined to remove 92% of the THC, whereas poultry dropping and biochar removed 90.6% and 85.4%, respectively. The blend of biochar and poultry dropping gave the best soil recovery.
