ABSTRACT
Bessel functions like many other functions of mathematics have several applications in research and design work which is now so extensive that the theory and it’s application may well find a place in the technical training of those defined to be engineers. Bessel functions has it’s application in free symmetrical vibrations of homogenous circular membrane. It can also be applied to many problems of mathematical physics.
