ABSTRACT
Globalization impact of on the differing areas of Third World Countries has often been conflictual. Most recently, its effects on Africa has been stressed. The reason is because of the general apprehension that the ultimately aim of globalization is to homogenize culture. The rationale for this research work is for the expansion of the frontiers of the globalization debates as well as to widen our knowledge of its ascendancy above the realm of economy. Also, the defeated and gainers arising from globalization are recognized with practical proof of its effects on major aspects; economic, politics, tradition, art, religion including the social environments. Globalization, despite its positive effect, has separated the globe in two (progressively rich and retrogressively poor). Third World countries particularly Africa remains one of the poorest, ostracized from the economy of the world with little or nothing much to benefit. Globalization thus; is a lopsided process with negative and positive consequences.
