SUMMARY
Fluid mechanics is a fascinating and important field of study that has been developed over centuries by many great scientists and engineers. The interest of fluid mechanics dates back to ancient civilization and the accumulation of this knowledge formed the basis for further development. In chapter 1, we were able to see that the study of fluids either in motion (fluid dynamics) and at rest (fluid statics) is known as fluid mechanics and there are some key terms such as fluid, force, pressure, Bernoulli’s equations etc., that are essential in understanding this subject matter.
