ABSTRACT

The study assessed the attitude of senior secondary school students towards examination malpractice in Oredo Local Government Area, Edo State. To achieve the specific objectives of the study, three research questions were raised to guide the study. The survey research design was adopted for the study. The target population of the study was made up of all the fourteen (14) public secondary schools in Oredo Local Government with a total population of 13,051 students. A total of 200 participants constituted the study’s sample. The instrument for data collection in this study was a self-structured questionnaire which contained fifteen (15) items. The items were constructed in the instrument using a Likert Scale with a four-point level rating responses. The instrument was validated through the experts’ assessment by the supervisor and was tested for reliability using the Cronbach’s alpha procedure.
