ABSTRACT

The study assessed the attitudes and self- efficacy of students towards mobile learning  in public secondary schools of Egor Local  Government Area of Edo State.

The descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. Four research questions were raised to guide the study. A Questionnaire was designed and used for data collection. The sample size for the study was made up of 300 respondents.  The data collected were analyzed using frequency count,  percentages,  and mean. Based on the findings, it was discovered that SS1 and SS2 have high  level of ICT competence and positive attitude towards mobile learning in public secondary  schools of Egor Local Government Area of Edo State. It was concluded that there was high usage of mobile devices of both SS1 and SS2 for their school work in  Egor Local Government Area of Edo State. It was therefore recommended among others that government should put in more concerted efforts towards ensuring adequate recruitment of a qualified teachers that will make the teaching  of  mobile  learning motivated   and interested  in other to increase the students performances in  their academics.
