ASSESSMENT OF THE UTILIZATION OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) FOR ADULTS

ABSTRACT

This chapter covers the study's summary, conclusions from the data analysis conducted during the investigation, and recommendations made in light of the results. The purpose of the study was to evaluate how adults with disabilities in the Egor Local Government Area used computer literacy. The study's four fifty-five research questions were posed. They are as follows: 45 1. What ICT resources are available in the Egor Local Government Area for adults with disabilities? 2. How much does Egor Local Government Area use information and communication technologies to provide adult learners with disabilities with educational opportunities? 3. To what extent do adult learners with disabilities in the Egor Local Government Area benefit from the efficient and effective use of ICT resources? 4. What obstacles exist for adults with disabilities receiving adult education in the Egor Local Government Area through the use of information and communication technology? The study involved 150 adult learners with impairments who were chosen from six adult education centers in the Egor local government district. Sections "A" and "B" of the questionnaire were composed. While Section "A" included the respondents' demographic data, Section "B" was designed to gather information on the many research questions that were posed as well as other issues that were thought to be crucial to the success of this study.
