Abstract
This study was designed to assess the problems associated with firefighting among firefighters in Edo state fire service. In view of this four research questions were generated to guide the study and several related literature were reviewed. The population of the study consist of 40 respondents where the census sampling technique was use. The research instrument was validated by the project supervisor and two other experts from the department of health safety and environmental education. The face and content validity of the research instrument was measured. Reliability of the research instrument was determined by the spilt-half method were the scores were correlated and the crobanch's alpha coeffcient of .782 was obtained.
