ABSTRACT
Based on the findings made from data collected and analyzed, it was concluded that the level of facilitator’s competencies in selecting the use of instructional technology in literacy centre in Oredo local government area of Edo state is very High. It can also be concluded based on the findings that the challenges faced by facilitators in the use of instructional technology in the literacy centres of Oredo local government area of Edo state are that there are no personal computers for the adult learners in the literacy centre; facilitators do not have basic training on instructional technology and there is lack of maintenance of instructional technology in the literacy centre.
