The study adopted a descriptive survey design using a convenience sampling technique. It sampled one hundred and eleven (111) adult inpatients across five wards in Central Hospital namely; Male medical, Female medical, Maternity, Gynecology ology, and Male surgical wards. A well-structured questionnaire was used as an instrument of data collection. The data analysis for the objectives as well as the research hypothesis was carried out using the IBM Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23.0 for Windows, a Cronbach alpha score of 0.81 was obtained. The level of satisfaction was set at p<0.05. The result shows that there is no significant relationship between the patient's satisfaction with the quality of nursing care and their level of education. It also shows that there is no significant relationship between patient satisfaction with the quality of nursing care and their age. The study therefore has implications for nurses generally due to the influential role they play in the whole process of health care delivery. Patient satisfaction affects clinical outcomes, patient retention, and medical malpractice claims, it also affects the timely, efficient, and patient-centered delivery of quality health care. Thus, the success of any treatment would be higher in the case of patients with high satisfaction.
