ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of staff training on organizational performance. The objective of this research was to investigate the correlation between staff training and employee performance. The study was conducted using the survey approach. The primary data was collected via the use of a survey questionnaire, and the secondary data was sourced from various academic resources such as textbooks, journals, and websites. Abraham Maslow's theory of needs was deemed suitable as a theoretical framework for the investigation. The data acquired was analyzed using the simple percentage method, while the hypotheses were tested using the chi-square test. Upon analysis of the data, it was found that the process of training and retraining personnel had a positive impact on enhancing employee performance, hence resulting in increased efficiency and production. Additionally, when training programmes are adequately funded, employees are more likely to achieve optimal performance. The research provided suggestions suggesting that the company should establish a well-defined program for the training and retraining of its personnel in order to foster a rise in productivity.
